Develop employability skills

Our Employability Programme includes a combination of employability and life skills to meet your needs and aspirations.  The programme can be tailored to your needs, and includes gaining experience in a real work place.

We will support you in searching for jobs, developing your CV, and improving your interview skills.  We will help you move on to further training, college or a job and we will also provide help to deal with the challenges of daily living, that could hold you back. For people who find a positive destination, we’ll be there to support you after you start.

We cover skills such as IT, communication, customer service, problem solving, numeracy and literacy and development of a positive work ethos.  You will learn to work on your own initiative and how to be part of a team.

Also, you can work towards an SQA Qualification:

  • Introduction to Workplace Skills (SCQF 3)
  • The Employability Award (SCQF 3)
  • Certificate for Work Readiness
